The Bruce Trail

The Bruce Trail is the oldest and longest marked hiking trail in Canada, covering more that 800km from Niagara Falls in the south to Tobermory in the north. Of those 800km, we've selected a 15km stretch that we feel to be one of the most diverse and inspiring sections of the trail, known as Lion's Head. The 2 Day Lion's Head trip is perfect for the weekend adventurer looking to broaden their backpacking experience and further develop their backcountry skills. As we make our way to McKay's Harbour, on the western shore of Georgian Bay, we'll travel through hardwood forests punctuated by cliffs, caves, waterfalls, and ancient cedar groves. Full of fine food and reflections from the day's journey, we'll rest our tired soles around the campfire, in preparation for the journey home.

Killarney Provincial Park

Killarney Provincial Park covers 48,500 hectares of white quartzite and red granite ancient mountains. Inspiring such artists as Franklin Carmichael and A.Y. Jackson, Killarney's rugged landscape continues to both challenge and inspire even the most seasoned backcountry explorer. The La Cloche Silhouette trail will lead us through mixed hardwood forests to turquoise alpine lakes and beautiful vistas of the Georgian Bay shoreline.
