The Dundas Valley Hike covers approximately 12km of the Bruce Trail, Canada's oldest and most expansive trail network. Beginning just outside the town of Dundas, this hike will start with a visit to Sherman Falls, and then climb up the escarpment and trace a ridge through forests, woodland meadows, and glacial carved valleys. We'll break mid-day at the old Toronto-Hamilton-Buffalo Railroad Station for lunch, where washroom facilities and picnic tables are available. After lunch, we'll hike down the escarpment, visit Webster's and Tew's Falls, and end with a breath-taking view of the Dundas Valley. The Dundas Valley Hike is rich in both natural and cultural history and provides a unique opportunity to explore Southern Ontario's diverse topography.
