Fleece or insulation layer (dress in layers, avoid cotton)

Comfortable pants - try to avoid jeans
Hat- wide brim to block the sun
Winter hat to cover your ears

Good trail shoes
- no dress shoes
- good tread with ankle support
- running shoes will do in a pinch

Please be prepared for ALL weather conditions, as the weather can often be quite unpredictable at best. You may also want to pack a change of clothes to leave in the car, as you may get wet, muddy, and smelly.
