Safety, comfort, and group health are only a few of the factors into deciding what gear to use on our trips. It is our responsibility to ensure that you are in safe hands. This is why each and every trip is outfitted with the most up to date safety and rescue equipment available. Our guides are also trained and certified with proper use and repair of all gear.
Always striving to lessen our carbon footprint and to support local business, we've sourced much of our best gear from as close to home as possible. Call it the "Hundred Mile Diet for Gear-heads." Buying local means shorter distances travelled, therefore less carbon is being emitted by fossil fuel engines. As well, it keeps us in close contact with our suppliers and keeps business in the community. All of our canoes, PFDs, and paddles are sourced locally.
