Our most popular hike, the Full Moon Night Hike allows you to experience Southern Ontario's forests in a whole new light. Your senses are sure to come alive as we hike a short distance through moonlit forests, listen for the calls of nocturnal animals, and share stories around a closing campfire. Silent and still, nighttime provides a truly unique opportunity to connect with the natural world.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS


DEPOSIT

All reservations are based upon a first come first served basis.  A 25% deposit is required to secure your reservation; the balance is too paid in full 14 days prior to departure date.  If a reservation is to be made within 14 days of the departure date, full payment is required.  Upon receipt of your deposit, you will receive trip confirmation and all pre-departure information.

CANCELLATION

A full refund, less a $100.00 administration fee, will be granted if cancellations are received within 14 days or more prior to departure date.  Due to trip preparation fees, such as permits, staff training, and food, there will be no refund for cancellations less than 14 days prior to departure, unless otherwise agreed to, and authorized by The LUNA Project.  For your convenience, you may change the date of your trip 14 days prior to departure without penalty. The LUNA Project, reserves the right to reschedule or cancel any trip should undesirable conditions prohibit travel. In the unlikely event of such a cancellation, all participants will be refunded in full. If a participant is late or fails to arrive for a confirmed course, clinic, or, trip, as outlined in the trip confirmation form, no refund or credit will be given.

MEDICAL EXPENSES

Any expense or cost incurred by use of medical care, or evacuation, is solely the responsibility of the participant (if under 18 years of age, the responsibility of the signed parent/guardian).  All participants who are not Canadian citizens should have reimbursement insurance.  Should a participant need to be sent home or evacuated during a program, all expenses are to be paid by the participant.  All insurance costs are the responsibility of the participant.
	
HEALTH AND LIABILITY

All activities offered through The LUNA Project, are physically demanding.  Participants should be in good physical health, any health issues or concerns should be fully disclosed on the participants’ medical form.   

CONFIDENTIALITY

All information provided to The LUNA Project, by the participant is for office use only.  The LUNA Project does not provide this information in any way to outside agencies.  Photographs taken during any course, clinic, or, trip may be used for promotional material unless otherwise stated in writing by the participant.

Description

The LUNA Project is set amidst a network of trails on a beautiful thirty acre section of reclaimed farmland near the quant village of St. George, Ontario. The 4km multi-use trail network allows visitors to explore the property and the various eco-regions it supports. The trail follows through an eighty year old hardwood forest dominated by beech, hickory and maple before a sudden transition into a forty year old regenerative forest marked by stands of red pine. Continuing along, guests will also be taken through the marshy floodplains of Beaver Creek, a hauntingly beautiful hawthorn grove, and an undulating prairie of wildflowers and grasses. Each distinct section is home to it's own variety of wildlife and provides us with the opportunity to observe the different species all in our own backyard.
