During the summer of 2009, we began the process of creating unique kids camps that would be offered at LUNA is St.George, Ontario. Met with tremendous success, we expanded our programs for 2010 and again for 2011. Now offering wilderness experiences for children ages 7-16, you can choose a program that will meet almost any experience level. These camps include a series of day camps, residential and multi day wilderness trips. Each program has been designed to help create a strong natural connection within the children, and help to develop a strong sense of self confidence, not to mention creating a life-time of unforgetable memories.

Our Wilderness and Expedition Canoe Tripping Camps have been designed to challenge the campers and build a strong sense of self confidence within the camper by immersing them in a true wilderness environment. All camps begin at The LUNA Project in St.George, Ontario, and then make the journey north for 5, 7, 10, 14 and 21 day canoe trips. We supply all the gear, food and equipment needed for these expedition style of trips. Groups are small with 8 youth and two guides, keeping a small footprint is one way we are able to ensure the health and longevity of our wild spaces

The LUNA Project offers three unique day camp and overnight sessions designed to create a strong connection with nature along with summertime fun! Campers will strengthen their connection towards nature and one another by spending time interacting with the magic of nature and participating in friendship building activities. There is an environmental education element to each session in which campers will unlock the mysteries of the trees, animals and plants found all around them. This exploration will foster a deep and lifelong connection with nature while promoting an appreciation for the role they play as environmental ambassadors. These camps are packed with skill building programs such as canoeing, survival shelter building, archery, wilderness cooking, bush craft, unlimited camp games and swimming! The experience of our Forest and Woodsprite Camps will create lasting memories for many summers to come!
