Description

After spending time appreciating the warmth of a fire on a cold winter's day, you'll appreciate having the tools that will help allow the spirit of fire to enter into your life. Many of us take the fire element for granted, however after gathering fuel and constructing your own fire bowl, we'll guide you towards creating a cozy fire in even the harshest of environments. Explore the tools in nature used to help ignite your flame or even carry the spirit of fire to your next site. Once we've aquired the gifts of fire, take part to prepare a wilderness feast not to be forgotten. We take great pride in designing unique menus for each of our backcountry excursions. Many misconceptions with camping include feasting on nothing but granola and freeze dried meals. We make sure that every menu is packed with nutritious, enjoyable, and fresh ingredients that will amaze you as to how elegant a wilderness trip can be. Starting with a basic camp fire and small camp stoves we'll help you prepare a truly magical wilderness feast utilizing natural ingredients harvested from our own forest garden. Lasagna, soups, teas, and breads are just a taste of the wonders you'll experience while cooking with us in the great outdoors.

Description

The LUNA Project is set amidst a network of trails on a beautiful thirty acre section of reclaimed farmland near the quant village of St. George, Ontario. The 4km multi-use trail network allows visitors to explore the property and the various eco-regions it supports. The trail follows through an eighty year old hardwood forest dominated by beech, hickory and maple before a sudden transition into a forty year old regenerative forest marked by stands of red pine. Continuing along, guests will also be taken through the marshy floodplains of Beaver Creek, a hauntingly beautiful hawthorn grove, and an undulating prairie of wildflowers and grasses. Each distinct section is home to it's own variety of wildlife and provides us with the opportunity to observe the different species all in our own backyard. With the addition of our new archery range, guided mountain bike lessons, eight point orienteering course, and our improved picnic area and multimedia equipped off grid yurt. The LUNA Project is the perfect destination for your next multisport adventure.
