Outfitted with snowshoes and Komatiks (traditional Inuit sleds), we'll head across the frozen waterways and snow-laden forests of Northern Ontario's backcountry in search of a perfect base-camp location. Once found, you'll have the opportunity to construct your very own quinzee (snow shelter) or help in the set-up of our woodstove-heated tent. After a refreshing night's sleep we'll head out on snowshoes and explore our newly acquainted winter world.
